AH F*** I forgot to add Vanquish (360/PS3) to my list! It was the funnest game I have played in a long time! Next year

Awww man Vanquish... I was playing through that aiming for the no deaths playthrough and got killed by an invisible wall just before a cutscene started, have sulked at the game ever since :D

There is a trick to that. If you quit without saving and then restart your system and load your last save, it load to before you died.

I never died though, the hardest was finishing Challenge 6..... Man, I was shaking when I did it because I almost died on the final wave, and had the AI done a different attack, I wouldn't have been able to save myself.

I absolutely love achievements like that one, to finish a game without dying/taking damage or so I think the

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/game/sonic-the-hedgehog-4-episode-1/achievement/38271-Untouchable.html

from sonic 4 and the Untouchable achievements from Too Human are probably some of the most... fist pumping ones I've gotten just for pure focusing and trying to remember to breath out inbetween boss attacks :D Not sure if anyone other than me actually played Too Human before there was a law passed to destroy copies of it :D but damn good game once you get passed its flaws and yeah hard as nails, so finishing the whole game without a death, rockers hard.

Really? You like those? I think it's a bs reason to replay the game.

I really hate the "collection" achievements, especially when there are missable collectables, and no track book. My Lost Odyssey is 20 short from complete because I missed a chest somewhere. It's a 60 hour RPG, and 2 chests are missable, I'm not walking everywhere!

lol lost odyssey I bought that for my bro and he was kinda raging about how much actual pts are given for some of the achievements, think there was a single boss one worth over 100 pts and pretty much 0 for the first 30 hours of play :D good times. But yeah collection achievements I'll get them if interested, I found every Tape deck in Bioshocks just because I really loved getting all the info as to what happened down there, but played Singularity and couldn't give a toss just picked up what got in the way... except for the metroid achievement if you've seen that, pretty cool Easter Egg.

I love collecting all the health tanks and gettings all the scans in Metroid, but I haven't beaten Metroid Prime yet (I should since I bought the game before I even owned a Wii), so I don't know what easter egg you are refering to.

I usually don't care for collectables, unless they add to the game in some way (like Skulls in Halo, or Energy Tanks in Metroid).

No no sorry what I meant is there is an achievement in Singularity which is an utter homage to Metroid, you even find a note at the end of doing it which is about a type of parasite which clings to peoples heads and it is signed S.A. :D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEmzn8Qwb88 can watch it here if you have no interest in finding it yourself, also singularity is just a bit meh overall imo better off to replay bioshock :D the tank in the vid is the start of Super Metroids baby metroid in tank thing.

Oh wow!!! That's cool. I never played singularity, and I bought Bioshock a long time ago, but got bored 2 hours into it. Everyone is telling me to give it another chance, and I will....in time. I still have Mass Effect 3, Bioshock New Vegas, and every JRPG on the 360 except Lost Odyssey to beat lol.

If you didn't like Bioshock then you wont like Singularity either I'd say I'd say give that another try before trying something else. As for the other games you've listed New Vegas just didn't click with me the same as Fallout 3 did I sunk around 400hours into 3 but new vegas just didn't latch onto me at all. Never played a ME game, based solely on having them recommended to me a load by someone who almost every game they've suggested was terrible :D probably good series from all the hype around it, will check it out sometime.

Yea, New Vegas doesn't have me excited to play it as it should. I loved Fallout 3, not as much as you, but I got all the achievements and did all the main quests.

I probably won't pick up Singularity. If I like Bioshock and have enough room for more games (Honestly, Catherine, Tales of Vesperia, Infinite Undiscovery, Uncharted 3, Halo 4, InFamous 2, my list is already too much), then I'll just get Bioshock 2.

As for Mass Effect, it's a good series, but a tough one to recommend. It's really slow to start, it takes about 5 hours for ME1 to really pick up, but after that, you should get hooked. It's a pretty good series, Mass Effect 2 is one of my favorite games this gen, and each game is only 20-30 hours long so the whole trilogy will take less time to beat then FallOut 3 (For you, I beat Fo3 in 40 hours with 1550/1550).

It's worth a look at, especially since the trilogy is coming out now.

BTW, did you mention Too Human earlier? Did you like that? Mass Effect feels like a much more polished version of Too Human, and both games gave me that same meh first impression, but I ended up loving them.
