Good review, still haven't had chance to watch it though, Netflix didn't have it.

I have seen the start though, and the James Bond introduction when he is at the casino table is the best one out of all the movies in my opinion.

Just one request...add screens from the movie to your reviews. :)

So now that you have watched this and Casino Royale 1957, which Card game to you find to be more realistic?

The card scene from Casino Royale 1954 was more realistic.  In baccarat your chances are nearly 50/50.  Going on a run like that is possible, but highly unlikely.  Even Bond himself admits that something like that can't last forever.  It goes back to your post about him having a horseshoe up his arse.

I think even Bond is wrong occasionally. He was lucky in the 50's and he is lucky now. Lucky his balls did not explode in Casino royale with Craig, Lucky he was able to get away from that Tsunami in Die another Day (and survive the plane falling apart, and get away from the space diamond lazer, and..), I would say the movie that he had the most luck in was From Russia with Love! The whole movie, like the blond Haired assassin said, he was being saved by him. Funny that Bonds guardian Angel is also his stalking trained assassin enemy!

Yeah, Bond would have been done for if it wasn't for Red Grant in From Russia With Love.  He especially helped him out in that gypsie camp.  Most of him luck tends to come from overconfidencer on the villain's part though.  Stuff like - Let's leave him out on an island to be eaten by alligators and leave.  They need to just shoot him, immediately.

The bullet would ricochet off his metal cigarette case. So they would rather try killing him with lazers, sharks, more lazers, Atomic bombs, outer space, and exploding trains. Oh and dominatrix loving Russian women.

This actually happened in one of the books.  :p

This why they have to shoot him in the head.

Lol! ok you win, they should just shoot him.

I just have to. With his luck he would get a cross eyed henchman! Run out of bullets and Bond would do some Judo on everyone in the room. Lol!

Nice review. I like Dr No and I love Bond's introduction. I figure the lack of nudity is more of a deliberate mistake - sadly enough.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

I don't even have a clue what card game he was playing in Dr. No.

As for Casino Royale 1957, I couldn't see the cards on the table, the version I watched had very poor quality.

As for your comment about Bond avoiding getting his nuts popped, I watched Casino Royale again a few days ago and realised that just before "the guy" came in (vague to avoid spoilers), Le Chiffre was just about to start cutting his man parts off, ouch.

Did you not watch the one that was uploaded in his preview thread?

Yes, that's the one. Could you see the cards in that one? Maybe I wasn't paying enough attention.

I understand that it was a deliberate mistake, but I don't think that you were supposed to see the swimsuit so clearly.
