leo-j, that's incorrect. they sold 1.2 ps3's this holiday season (december). but total for US it's 3.5 ps3s and 500k standalone bd players.

all that matters is what the MASSES buy

hddvd is likely to be sub-100 in the next year or so; that is a price point that will get mass sales

if bluray remains at 3-400, then it will not win

btw, hddvd has higher attach rates than blu-ray

but again, none of that matters
