I think they're equally polished for what they are. Uncharted appeals a lot more to me personally but technically and game-play both are really polished examples of their respective genres.

But I guess the need to try and compare everything in a competitive manner is mandatory these days,

I Would say overall Uncharted 3 is a Better game, still love Gears3.
