So MGS4 is coming to 360 then?  Fans desperately wanting a game doesn't always equal them getting that game.

That's possible, although slightly risky for a company like EA in that it could affect sales of other multiplatform titles if they seemed overly biased to one console over another.

I think ME2 will sell very well, enough that EA might quielty keep it off PS3 and settle for 360/PC sales and imply it's based on arrangements made before their involvement - alternatively they might wait for a while in the GTA IV Episodes style then release it on PS3.

I really does depend on the contracts though.  EA may well have inherited a contact that means ME is essentially a console exclusive to 360 in which case they won't even have the option of releasing on PS3 or bartering with MS for other stuff.

As ever time will tell.

Making the game go full multi-platform at this stage when there are already ME1 and ME2 on the market could hurt its future sales. I don't think that EA will take the risk especially when they see that their new game Dragon Age that is from the beginning a full multi-platform is selling much worse on PS3 than X360.

I think that they are able to achieve more when the game is a console exclusive for X360. Much more hype for the game.

Guy's...its not coming to ps3...makes no sense this far in the game...not only that...if it did..that puts every non 1st party title at risk...then goes the point in owning a 360 or a ps3...which btw one has better grphx hardware and one has better prossecer...sorry for mispellings..on a cellphone.

Starting to seem only nintendo has more 1st party stuff then any console..and thats not saying much...only sooo many times I can play zelda 7890 and mario universe 23...oh and metriod prime infinitiy....*btw mario zelda metriod...great stuff *

And when you think about it,EA has to pay back the money MS invested in funding the Mass Effect trilogy,just like Rockstar is making Agent on ps3 only because Sony payed 20 million or more for LA Noire,but the game now goes multiplat.

Wrong. Sony has 1st party studios and they own those IPs. MS on the other hand... not so much. And Mass Effect is owned by EA, not MS. And as I can recall EA does mostly multiplatform titles.

Well it's not like I care, I already own both MEs.

Please don't kick up the whole fanboy war, because it's quite obvious that PS3 fans would love to see any new game on their console, the fact that it was a MS exclusive makes it all the sweeter.

I would just like a chance to play it since my PC is not up to spec and I have quite a few reasons for not owning a 360, It's ok for someone who has every console to go out and say "This keeps the 360 different from the PS3. They don't need the same games.", but if you are a fan of games then it is a real let down when you don't get to play one that looks interesting.

However I too like the idea of exclusives (as hypocritical it may sound), I would never want to see Mario or Halo on the PS3 even if it means I don't get to play them except at a friends house, some things are meant to say exclusive and probably wouldn't even sell that well on another console, however I do not think this is that case for games like Tekken, GTA, Quantum Theory or Mass Effect.

ME is a different thing, it was discovered in early development and funded by MS. The fact it's now published by EA is just because they bought Bioware and had to negotiate with MS.

Maybe it's because I have both consoles PS3 and 360, but I think exclusives are fine, even timed exclusives. Otherwise, we might just as well have the fabled "one console future".

I'd love to see ME2 on the PS3 mostly beacuse i don't own a 360, but i doubt a lot this is gonna happen, beacuse ME already is a big success on 360 and PC

I don't care if it comes to ps3,since the series is'nt really on my radar!!!!!! If I wanted it,I would have bought it for my 360.
