State your opinion on abortion.. Why should it be banned or why shouldn't it be?

Early term abortion should be perfectly legal and I think if Abortion is going to take place it should be done before the childs brain begins to function. However all abortion shouldn't be taken likely.

This is an issue where people are preset in their beliefs and all discussion is meaningless.

The debate should never be "should it be legal?" That should be afixed at yes. The efforts of the pro-lifers should be focused on trying to minimize incidents of it, rather than this endlessly pointless debate that breeds these single-issue voters, dragging down our system.

Anyway, it should be legal in all trimester. However, after the 22nd week it should be heavily advised against unless there is a serious medical problem that will result in either the babies death or the mothers death, disability or severe illness.

While I personally believe that having an abortion is generally an immoral and selfish act primarily performed to avoid embarrassment, I don’t believe they should be illegal.
