Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Rumor: Tales of Vesperia being ported to Wii

Not to mention its a pretty iffy situation to do so, since the sales for Tales of Symphonia 2 were mediocre at best.

It sold the same as Vesperia 360 and better than any of the handheld Tales worldwide.  Not bad for a cheapo spinoff developed mainly by team newbies.

Well, according to VGChartz, it sold 100,000 less than Vesperia for 360 and 800,000 units less than its GC prequel.  Now I'm not going to call 350,000 units sold a 'failure', but going from a million to 350,000 units isn't a positive shift for a series...

Six upcoming games you should look into:

ps3 tales or 360 tales?

Actually...I believe in this rumor, its sounds......soooo much like NB

@ Kenryoku_Maxis

According to VGChartz 390,000 units were sold. And you are forgetting that Tales of Symphonia 2 hasn't been released in PAL-regions yet (I think you can add about 100k LTD). But nevertheless the sales of this game aren't something to be proud of. Especially when some sequels do better than its prequels in this generation.

It's not a full sequel, it's a budget spinoff made by mostly new staff.   The big budget spiritual sequel from the same team was actually Vesperia.

And the main reason VGC has Vesperia significantly ahead is the Euro release.  When DOTW gets released there, it'll catch right back up.

So Namco expects me to buy all three versions? Sad thing is I will if this is true...

Former something....

weirdest rumor of the day :/

OK CAN A HAVE A DS AND A PSP VERSON AND A PS2 VERSION
TGHIS IS GETTING RIDICULOUS
