IW might not be able to, but Treyarch definitely can.

I'm still not exactly sure how much more powerful a 360 is then a Wii but it wouldn't be a stretch to say it's somewhere between 2-4 times as powerful. Can you really blame them for not wanting to work with that kind of a handicap?

Well the 360 is supposed to be 10x more powerful than the original Xbox. So the question is how does the Wii stack up to the Original Xbox? Maybe twice as powerful if its lucky. Therefore simple mathematics tells you the 360 is at least 5x more powerful than the Wii.

Although not directly comparable, the Wii is about as powerful as the original X-box.

The Wii is twice as powerfull as the Gamecube, which was comparible to the original X-box (though maybe a little weaker, depending on what you're trying to do).

wow Infinity Ward are arse holes..

Treyarch can do what?  Make a bad CoD game?  Oh yes, they can do that very well.

I give that post a 9.2.

Thank god for the disable signatures option.

The statement is perfectly clear.  Grow up.  IW said over and over again that the Wii could not handle Modern Warfare.  All the pirated videos of Treyarch's Modern Warfare efforts prove otherwise.  Now IW is at it again with MW2 and beyond.  IW may not be able to deliver on the Wii (and I give them points for admitting it), but there's no doubt that Treyarch can.

The only bad CoD Treyarch made was CoD 3 Wii, and that's because they only had two developers working on it.

Actually it was because they only had 8 months, but otherwise that's true.

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

I can't find the post, but I'm pretty sure that Treyarch developer who is on all the forums said they only had two developers working on it.

They've also stated they had far less time than they liked, so both those combined hurt the final result.

I agree (though just to be clear, I don't think he was talking about artists and other support people when he gave that number).  One thing is certain, CoD 7 Wii is set to have full support from Treyarch (unless MWR flops in sales).  There are still some things in MWR that the developers would have liked to improve (they have admitted that much), but they made priorities and concentrated on what they thought was most important (and as
Duke Nukem Forever has proven, that's what you have to do).

I dont see anything gameplay-wise from the MW2 vids that is so dramatically different from the leaked MWii vids.

Obviously the graphics, physics, SFX arent as high fidelity. Its clear that IW just doesnt want to. Not the best financial decision. Then again we dont know all the details from their studio.
