It might help to make clear what's acceptable behavior and what isn't if you didn't edit the posts of the people you ban. I think leaving what was said on the record is important. Also, putting words in somebody else's mouth seems a little... childish.

The current ones that are getting their stuff edited out are puppet accounts. They arent getting banned for the content of their posts but because the person behind them is perma banned.
Not sure if the mods edit other peoples posts, I agree with you they probably shouldnt apart from in certain circumstances (there are certain things that should be removed just because of what it is.)

I'll only edit posts when someone is making a fool of themselves, like one of Hus's million alternate accounts.
For the record, I'm deleting all the alt trolls posts. If people are banned, their voice will not be heard.
What they said. You really only need to edit posts if they're extremely vulgar or obscene.
If they're just being jerks, you may as well leave it up. Or if it's constant spam, delete them, but leave a note saying "post edited by MontanaHatchet."
