With the holiday season approaching the game release schedule is packed full of game both good and bad. In order to help your fellow vg comrades make a wise choice this holiday season list your top three most anticipated games and why. I will start

New super Mario bros

For me Mario world was the panicle of 2d Mario so as its spiritual successor nsmb wii has a lot to live up to! And so far so good it looks and smells just how a 2d Mario should be. I can’t wait to try out four player mode it really dose look fun.  My only reservations would be its difficulty, I’ve been told that nsmb ds was over way to quickly and easily so I just hope nsmb wii has a larger number of levels given that it is on a home console and that some of the levels give a healthy challenge.

Dead space wii

EA sports have impressed me of late with the effort they have put in to their two big summer titles, tiger and grand slam.  And now it looks as though EA are following suite with the impressive dead space. I admit when I heard the words on rale shooter I was one of the first to lambast EA as been lazy.  Now that the videos are out I am a convert, the graphics are amazing and it looks as if EA have managed to keep that intense scary atmosphere.  Will the game receive AAA billing romance to be seen but this game is shaping up to be a monster (no pun intended).

Rabbids go home

Ryman raving rabbids debuted alongside the wii and from that moment it was clear to see new stars had been born. So far they have been confined to mini games alongside industry has been rayman but now ubi have decided to give the rabbids there much deserved saring role.  Will it succeed and send the rabbids into Mario and sonic territory or will they join cool spot and earth worm Jim as mere flash in the pans?  For me the key to this success is going to be the creation of a new gaming genre the comedy. Ubi have commented a few time about how this game is a comedy game a style which has never been attempted properly in games. if it works rgh will be a joy.

1. New Super Mario Brothers Wii (...Wii)
Why: My friends and I love multiplayer Mario games, but we need something fresher then kart racing or fighting.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks (DS)
Why: Phantom Hourglass was a gem DS game for me, and I'm excited that this game looks to fix some of PH's flaws
3. Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS)
Why: The Curious Village was the best travel game because I could involve my family and still have fun. This will be fun for Cross Country Trips.

Modern Warfare 2
Gran Turismo 5 (now that there have been rumors of it releasing this year)
Halo: ODST

New Super Mario Bros Wii

wait, is this for nintendo systems only or does it include ps3 360 and psp, if it includes those then wouldnt it be better to but this in the game discussion. also can we include games that have already come out or is this for the rest of the year
