I do believe this game could sell more than 200,000 in the first month, considering all the prime games have sold over 1 million each, I've heard many people saying they haven't played the first 2 games and saying they think it's worth to play them via Metroid prime trilogy, lifetime sales could be over 2 million. About 400,000 by the end of the year possibly.

2 million seems too high. I'd wager that majority of Metroid fans already have all the three games, but it could bring some newcomers as well. But anyways it's your prediction, expecting it to outsell 2 Metroid Prime games is not realistic.

I already have the 3 prime games but since I'm such a big fan of the metroid series I will still get the trilogy still. maybe 2 million is high, how about 1.6 million instead. Over a Million at least.

I'm buying it on release. I haven't played since original and with so many other games that caught my eyes, I never got the ones for the Cube or the last one on Wii. I'm excited to play them in order with Wiimote before the Other M is released.

If your prediction comes true, which I hope it doesn't, then this game won't even last one full year in a store's inventory and the only possible way to get it is through amazon etc. or asking the store clerks.....

But then again I was kind of suspecting this..... Too bad I can't afford this game this year....

Anyway, if releaseed in Europe as well then maybe it can do 600k being the max take or few 50ks.

It won't outsell any of the main games, that's for sure. 1 million is very unlikely in my opinion. It's not like the game is cheap. Costs as much as a new game, and these aren't new games. I don't see many people spending 50 bucks on a compilation, but I see them spending them on new games. If you already have the games it's not a cheap deal, if you don't then it's great, but I doubt many Metroid fans still miss those games.

It depends. If Nintendo does TV commercials, does no more printings of MP3, reprints this game at least one time next year and also released it in Europe for a similar price; then, I expect one million in lifetime sales. I don't know about first month or stuff like that.
