That would be difficult actually. I've gotten casuals to play Halo 3 multiplayer....and they quit.


really, my dad uncles and friends love playing halo 3. yeah they suck at it but they still play it. you can find alot of casuals who will play halo 3 and CoD and find it fun

It's cool that they learned how to play a moderate control scheme (rather than a casual one).

If the Wii sells less than 20 million in 2009 (as defined by VGC sales between week ending 3d Jan 2009 to week ending 4th Jan 2010) Slimebeast wins and get to control Arius Dion's sig for 1 month.

These are pretty much the best games on the PS3 and 360. Do actually mean to tell me that Wii Sports Resort could hold a candle to these games? Sure the game can outsell these titles, but look at the majority of the owners of the Wii. They aren't interested in moderate to hardcore games. You can pretty much tell by the sales.

When games like Wii Sports Resort sell over 20 million copies and Games like I listed above sell 10 or less its a bad day for gaming. It means that the majority of people who game don't want to spend any time learning how to better themselves at gaming. They just want a one night stand.

This here is my personal opinion. Is Wii Sports better than:

1. Uncharted - Never played, so it's hard to tell.
2. Mass Effect - Most definitely.
3. Gears of War - HELL YES! (these games suck)
4. Infamous - No idea
5. Killzone 2 - At least the first 20 minutes. Probably the rest too
6. Halo - Yup!
7. Fable - Oh my god yes!
8. Metal Gear Solid - is a fun game funner than a boring game?
9. Grand Theft Auto IV - This one IS a bit tricky.
10. Modern Warfare - Point and click vs. Point, throw, slice, draw, stroke, turn and paddle. Or boring vs. fun.

Out of all the games you mentioned (and never played) there is only one game that comes close to Wii Sports Resort.

People have different taste. It's only natural. What I believe you have yet to realize is that what you value might not be what other people value. This realization gives a perspective on gaming that you might not like, but will make it possible to for you to understand it better.

But I'll agree with you on one thing. It's a bad day for you when people do not buy the games you like.

I've played Wii Sports and it is fun. Who would dare to say that it is light years away from the predecessor? It is definitely not a AAA game though.

So if I give you my opinion, it's a joke and I have bad taste (implied). But your opinion is gods own truth. No wonder you have a problem with WSR selling like it does.

For your information, I like games that are fun. If you want to call that 'casual', that's up to you.
