I got mine a day EARLY!!!

Loving Swordplay, archery, golf and air sports so far!

Only gripe I have at the moment is that the motionplus goes out of synch for me in swordplay showdown - maybe I'm just swinging too enthusiastically!

I noticed it drop out alot and if you pause frequently you will see the wiimote on screen go crazy (kinda like a compass spinning). I dk if it really affects my game though, thats the strange thing about it.

Yeah I read something about having to calibrate quite alot. How bad is it? I'm thinking of picking up this game.

I haven't had any problems recalibrating during games, with either motion plus.

It needs recalibrating before and between different games, but it only takes a couple of seconds. Also, you can recalibrate it during the swordfight mode by holding down on the D-pad and pointing at the middle of the screen. That works in a couple of other games, I think.

I have to say the canoe and jet ski vs modes are great fun, as is the cycling vs, actually. Dog fight was a little slow, but still fun, and the controls are awesome.

My one disappointment is that bowling doesn't seem to have much improvement-however, I've been unable to test the spin control mode yet, so don't take what I've just said as fact. The ability to control the curve in golf is a notable improvement over the original.

Overall, I'm very pleased. It's definitely an 8/10 game for me, and I can't wait to see what else comes from Motion Plus. 1:1 sword control in Zelda? Please.

Fantastic title, If somebody asked what they should buy for their Wii I'd say Wii Sports Resort before anything else. Perhaps I'm strange but I actually really enjoy cycling, you actually have to think about when to make a break and when to just go with the flow.

Sword play is awesome fun and especially speed slice with a friend, Air Sports is awesome, I really want a fully fledged flight game for Wii now with the same controls except perhaps a little faster.. Basketball is fun with a friend too but it's not great and isn't something to play by yourself.. Canoeing is crap.. Table tennis is another awesome sport and can really get heated, my only problem with it is that matches don't last long enough.. Frisbee Golf is much better than the Tiger Woods 10 Disk Golf mode in my opinion and Disk Dog is actually pretty tough and is great for multiplayer..

Basically though these two are really what shows off M+ the best in my opinion:

1. Archery.. it's AWESOME! It feels really natural, controls beautifully, nothing much else to say.

2. Wakeboarding.. It's not very deep but holding the controller out in front of you the way it asks you too and keeping the board flat really takes concentration and it can get tiring which is really immersive. It feels like you're in total control.

Finally these two are the ones that made me want a new entry in franchises I've never played:

1. Jet Ski: Wave Race. Jet Ski feels fabulous, the controls, not as much as Wakeboarding but pretty close felt completely immersive. The waves, the turns, the boosting.. It just works..

2. Air Sports: PilotWings/Starfox. Air Sports is another one that just felt great to play. It was fun to fly around and large scale dogfights would be fantastic and something I'd love Nintendo to look into.

I haven't had any Wii MotionPlus calibration problems over the last couple of days with Wii Sports Resort either.

Like every sport, LOVE the airplane. This whole game is a gift from god.

a gift from god?

Im one of those people who think every game is just not enough. I wish the games had more depth but its still great.

Damn, listening to all of you talking about how great WSR is made me want to get the game as well. So....

I just went out and bought it! It's pretty cheap as well, only cost me ~4500 yen, I thought it would be more expensive than that including the motion+ attachment. It's too bad the store I went to was sold out of extra motion+ attachments. I have to go check somewhere else so I can pick up an extra one, so my gf and I can play.
(I also reserved Pokemon Soul Silver for her while I was there, off topic, but it's Nintendo related ;-p )

A taster from God/Miyamoto might be a better description.

I agree, I want lots more but for the price I'd feel cheeky asking.
