Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii Sports Resort is AWESOME, Feedback etc.

Feedback etc. Discuss how awesome casual gaming is.

I got it already in Australia btw. Went to 24hr shop right after midnight.

Impressions -

Damn Frisbee Dog is HARD. For a game that we all considered the most casual friendly it is ridiculously hard to manipulate the disc.

Sword fighting is great but i need more time with it. Table Tennis is awesome too. The ball is alot lighter so it floats off the table easily.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Nice! I am excited for the Table Tenis and Sword Fighting. What about the Jet Ski game?

LOL. Discuss how awesome casual gaming is? You realise this thread will probably be derailed by fanboys now? I do agree it can be. Am patiently awaiting my copy.

DAmn it >.

Jet ski is good fun, not particularly fast but the controls are nice and responsive. My favourite so far is the Island Flight, controls brilliantly and is very relaxing. Also, you can do barrel rolls!!

My pre-ordered copy arrived early this morning, two days early! The only game I haven't enjoyed is cycling, but it's by no means a weak game-just not as precise or fun as some of the others. And I agree with the comments about the frisbee game-they're the most difficult, along with the shooting game in Basketball.

Hopefully going to get a chance to test out the multiplayer tonight with the family.

yea its not that fast and the throttle should last longer but damn its still awesome fun when jumping waves. Its certainly close to how i remember Waverace with water physics and that sensation.
