Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft WON the E309, easily

This isn't a matter of fanboyism, MICROSOFT won and with a HUGE advantage (NATAL). Everybody is talking about NATAL, it's the only real NEW thing E309 showed this year.

It's huge, do you guys think MICROSOFT wants the Wii throne?

No in my opinion

SONY/Ninty tied for me

but I can understand they might have won for other people

All hail the KING, Andrespetmonkey

Average Sony motion control for spring 2010 >>> amazing Natal no release date

pretty simple

Sony win

Time to Work !

@libellule

Tell me with a straight face that you think they will make the spring 2010 date

for me Microsoft did poorly yes they had natal which looks interesting & Rock Band Beatles but my major problem is most of the games they showed were shooters and im not a big fans of those both nintendo and sony had a veriaty of games from different genres so in my opinon i think they lost E3

I will assume you also believe GT5 beat Forza 3.

Forza 3 fall 2009 release GT5 no release date.

To add if Sony is serious about a Spring 2010 release shouldnt they have had some real games to show? Didnt Nintendo basically show WiiSports when they unveiled the Wii 1.5 years before release?

Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

You know people have been saying that some first party sony studios are MIA... what if they have been working with this? And the demo seemed pretty smooth. I think it could make it out in 10 months.

i agree one hundrad percent

I agree..

MS and Nintendo really did a great job this E3 IMO....

I'd argue it was close, mostly a tie and you could argue Sony actually edged MS a little on the games front. I actually it felt was interesting that MS came across all Sony this year - 360 as home entertainment hub, etc - while Sony came across more like MS - big focus on games and new IP.

I'd note EA are already stating that the Sony motion controls will likely be easier to leverage (and they don't seem to be alone in that view).  Natal is sure to get more column inches, but I suspect it will trail Sony and Nintendo in adoption and speed to market (particularly as Nintendo are already in the market and with the EyeToy already out and clearly more demonstrable tech Sony seem sure to beat Natal to market).  I really feel unsure Natal can become the lead concept for motion control this gen - but I guess time will tell.

I also felt that from a games point of view both Sony and Nintendo showed more exclusives and big titles than MS, Sony particularly with God of War 3, Uncharted 2 and Last Guardian looked very strong here.

MS show was great, and perhaps the slickest, but it didn't for me win the show 'easily'.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
