I would also like to see the full NPD listing

With the lack of advertising for the game and the fact that it only had three days to chart for this month's NPD, it's not surprising that it didn't chart.

I'm sure it will chart next month with the upswing in 360 sales but don't expect big numbers from it. 

Matt at IGN stated that the Wii outsold the DS.

(July NPD includes Canada, Aug NPD does not)

The August comparison is incomplete without Canada numbers..

If July Canada NPD was any indication for August numbers, NPD is very close to Vgc for DS (probably adds 35k), Wii (adds maybe 30k), PS2 (20k), 360 (15k), GBA (10k).  PSP (10k) is about 20% off, and PS3 was the most off - 30% or so over tracked

There wont be a 40 gig, the idea of one is idiotic.  They went with 80 gig one cause it was the cheepest. 

Well actually, MP2 only did 140K week one, and it was in november... So maybe 220K week one in august is not so bad...

VG figures look good! PS3 is the only one out, and not by that much.

@MP3 - the NPD figures include the first 2-3 days on sales, and exclude the first weekend it was out. Figures seem about right to me - on par with VG first week figures.

Not a great month for Sony - PSP, PS2 & PS3 all dropping. Comparing August to July NPD figures alone:

PS2 down 20%
PSP down 35%? (no surprise with new model hitting now)
PS3 down 25% (not great, price cut effect wears off)
