Yeah that is all CGI. I remember the ad for FFVII, showed all cut scenes and shit, then I play it and I'm like "what the fuck? his arms are fucked up"

Heavy Rain? |
What kind of cutscenes will Heavy Rain have? Empty streets, small houses, corridors. Like I said it is possible to show simple stuff through ingame cutscenes with current gen hardware and make it look CGi-ish. But there are just too many things that are not possible with ingame graphics.

The differense is much easier to notice in the latest trailer though. This one was more like a target-render than actual ingame. Last and current gens it has become possible to make simple cutscenes ingame instead of CG. But there are a lot of things that are absolutely impossible to make using ingame. The sequences with these flying ships for example: ingame like this will only be possible with PS6 if we are lucky. |
LOL...PS6
I don't care if this game gets a 5/10, it's going to be my first JRPG for the PS3 and I'm really excited about it
I really don't like it when they put in too much CGI- cutescenes in a game. I mean I want to play alot of the cutscenes not watch it
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing (mostly)
And shepherds we shall be,
For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints
Yo dawg we heard you like myspace and jrpg, so we put myspace in your jrpg so you can jrpg while you myspace.
