P.S - Before anyone else asks how do I play my PS3 FPS games if I don't like dual analog, I tell you that I own FragFX "pad" to play them.

couldn't agree more!! and if you think of it, dual analog controls for FPS are even more outdated than Wii graphics, dual analog is PS times! i guess it's the reason i never buy FPS for Ps3, but RPGs and sword type games

I used to ignore them too buddy, but try FragFX. It works sweet. I have condmned, Cod5 (but like it more on the Wii though) and futurely KZ2 :P

Wii lovers are more annoying. Most of them insist that the Wii is the greatest thing since sliced bread, that the other consoles suck, and that X game is worse than Y Wii game because it hasn't sold as much.

No, and I don't see how that's relevant.

To be honest, I couldn't care less how well the Wii plays FPS games. I can use Dual Analog perfectly well. It's really not hard.

EDIT: The PC has the best FPS controls by far, but that doesn't mean I prefer PC FPS games.

Never played a FPS on the Wii? :O

Go play CoD4 on PS3 or 360 and see if you can tell me consoles cannot handle FPS games with a straight face.

I HAVE CoD5 for PS3...

And despite the PS2-like graphics I prefer the Wii version. Even online.

Infact I play CoD5 on the Wii for online, and on my PS3 for the campaign, which isn't so action filled as online...

I would have to agree with the statement that dual analog controllers can control a FPS fine. I just don't care for the experience because handling a character with that type of controller reduces you to being an electronic puppet master. The Wii control system, when well executed, brings you into the game in an immersive way I can never experience with the older style controls.

With the addition of motion plus and the improved accuracy and responsiveness, I cannot believe that anyone will argue that it is not the best FPS control ever.

Well actually I can because there are people that would argue about the sun rising in the East and setting in the West where the Wii is concerned because to ever admit it was better at anything would make their heads explode.

I have cod4 and cod5 on PC, purely because the control system is easier. however I got R6:Vegas on ps3, and while the analog stick took a while to get use too, the cover system and slow gameplay helped negate the negative aspects of the control system.

My personal rule, which is for me only, is if the game is multiplatform and has a pc version, grab it on pc, else grab it on console.

Wii FPS controls, I haven't tried yet but I can't see anything really bad about it based on what I've heard. maybe I should pick up metroid prime soon hehe.
