Now i know some people may have already known this but i just found out yesterday in Outcast's thread official 360 mag says KZ2 is amazing.  Then today i did a little research to find out wat this cover system is about no help from no one on this site as i did ask in that thread wat was this cover system about. I think all who aren't into FPS or aren't getting KZ2 should know this info as i too wasn't planning on getting it but now changed my mind i've even added it to BHR-3 most anticipated games of 09

Something to ponder I've played castle wolfinstien and doom for the PC back in the day and FPS was the new thing for gameplay exp. back then.  Then i got Goldeneye for the 64 after that game i lost my interest in FPS it never felt realistic there was no strategy it just felt like running around and killing things you don't do that in a real battle field.  Playing games like MGS and Uncharted and other TPS FPS felt dated to me b/c of the lack of a cover system. I'm a coward i like to run and hide behind things wen playing shooter games i always wanted this feature in a FPS 

IGN said it best in there RBS Vegas review "Going back and playing other FPSs just isn't the same anymore. When I duck behind a corner, I don't want to stare at a poorly-textured wall before strafing out into the open. I want to peak around the corner, line up a shot, and shoot things"

This is true the only other FPS game that i know that has a cover system is RBS Vegas 1&2 but wen in cover you go into a 3rd person view which isn't keeping it real and the games single player story and AI wern't much to brag about

Although i don't think KZ2 will do to much in terms of console sales it will do something in that it will draw the hardcore gamer into the ps brand as no other FPS out yet has this unique gameplay feature and advanced AI it may even take some potential 360 buyers.  After finding that K2 has a cover system i also will jump back into the FPS genre as i've been absent from it for awhile. The only problem is that RE5 comes out at the same time so i'll pick it up after im done with that probably around the summer time wen there is the droat of games coming out

Rainbow six 3 had a cover system that stayed in first person view. It was revolutionary at the time

Uncharted does not equal first person shooter.

 He was saying FPS felt dated because TPS games like Uncharted and MGS HAD cover systems, while FPS did not.

I think it's pretty neat, but it's not a make or break feature for me...I'd have been getting the game anyway, but I see your reasoning.

Uncharted was an improved version of what was seen in the original Gears of War.  Gears 2, I believe, addressed the issues with the original.

just learned about that from you so thanx it looks like they took it out for online mp idk why they could of just had a option to turn it off or people that want a fast pace exp. could just not even use it

it won't affect me as im not into online mp

@ Tacoboy49 didn't know that either idk why all FPS haven't opted to use this i know i'd buy COD if it had the feature

@stubbs Uncharted is a TPS that did reflect GOW so it doesn't matter if it has a cover system it was already in the gaming world epicurean was wright on wat i meant

@KtylieDog idk wat it is but a cover system does something for me in terms of gameplay to make it feel  more intense and i think that KZ2 goes against Halo in terms of comparisons as far as gameplay KZ2 is one up it with this cover system
