And they didn't even acknowledge where the numbers came from, bastards:

John Taylor, videogame analyst, Arcadia Research, said "Shaun White Snowboarding" sold 259,000 copies in the U.S. in November and generated $13.6 million for Ubisoft with 40 percent of those sales for the Wii console.

For comparison, the first two weeks of PS3 + 360 + Wii for Shaun White Snowboarding were: 257,621 and the Wii sold 103,754 copies or 40%.

         Doesn't matter for me, because marketing ads don't work on me. bugrimmar has shown me, that only ignorant people fall for marketing ploys, as evidenced in this thread, http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=53450&page=1. That Domino's ad, I'm seeing right now, certainly isn't going to work, if even though it's such good deal... and so delicious looking... and delivered so quickly. Odd. I wouldn't usually care for Domino's at all, but the people in the ad act like it's orgasmic. Who could refuse food that good? Of course, it will have to wait until, I've tried out a 10-Day FREE Trial of WoW!

         Off the topic that we were never on: Your avatar is on Millionaire Password in the US, right now and surrounded by hot women, naturally. Of Course, Regis Philbin is harassing him, because he's jealous and wants the women for himself.

The reason gamers have a problem with VGC is simple: They don't like to be reminded of Wii's sales.



PC + Wii owners unite.  Our last-gen dying platforms have access to nearly every 90+ rated game this gen.  Building a PC that visually outperforms PS360 is cheap and easy.    Oct 7th 2010 predictions (made Dec 17th '08)

According to John Taylor himself, the source for the figures in the Reuters article is NPD.
