About the only thing I figure is that she was stupid hot, it was Thursday at Buffalo Wild Wings ($0.60 boneless wings night), and loads of stupid drunk guys that I'm sure giver her a tip just for her acknowledging their existence.

I guess she just expects a tip from everybody since she's hot and therefore deserves it?

Wait it was at a BW3?  That's even worse... I mean... most people don't tip at BW3 that i know of.

The ones by me don't even have tip jars or anything... unless you actually get your food directly brought to you by a waiter.  Which nobody does.

When I was a waiter, if I didn't get tips I wouldn't have been able to pay rent or buy gas. My hourly wages were the chump change on the side. I'd go a month and just cash them all at once. (We got paid every Thursday.)

Not to go off topic, but I love $0.60 boneless wings night! I get the Asian Zing, Mango Habanero, Spicy Garlic and Caribbean Jerk.

Damn, why isn't it yesterday?

I tip the waitress, hair dresser and cosmetician at the beauty salon. You shouldn't tip a cashier at a restaurant it doesn't make sense. It's like you don't tip the cashier in shop, do you?

Oh and I must admit I tip less to people who don't offer me a nice service.

I never tip period. I know that I may sound cheap but tipping someone doesn't make much sense to me. When I work at my job the home owners won't come over and give me a tip for doing a good job, and it's not like waiters/waitress don't get paid so why should I tip them if there getting paid an hourly wage like everyone else?

Waiters/waitresses get paid a low hourly rate + tip. It's the tips that they work for. The hourly rate for a waiter is usually half of the minimum wage.

....didn't know that, maybe I might not be so cheap next time

Sorry, that made me lawl

Oh, I definitely vary my tip depending on service.  Shitty service can go as long as 10% ($3 minimum) and good service can goi as high as 30% depending how awesome they are.

I think the only dick move I've ever done is where you put the tip in an upside down glass of water, but that was back in high school when I was a pretty big jerk and in my defense they waiter was pretty shitty.

0-15% for someone that actually serves me.

if i had a cashier treat me like that,i think id probably tell her that shes a dumb c---

That probably played into it pretty strongly. Like I said earlier, cashiers get tips very often for some reason. I can't explain it, but I would get tips from customers like 80% of the time for doing nothing other than handing them food and taking their money.

That's the thing though... BW3's don't really have waiters.  They have kitchet staff... and cashiers.  Who occasionally took food out to customers... if they weren't busy.  But instead were more likely to hand you a little buzzer for you to pick up your own damn food.
