I was in an eletronic shop last week...
it's called Mediaworld.
lot of tv pc and obviusly games...
normal...
there also some demo station of x360,wii,ps3
normal...
wii station was turned off due low battaries in wiimotes...
normal also this...Nintendo Of Italy never changes batteries...
(I don't know in other countries but here we are third world of gaming)
ps3 demo station has a game in free play...
ninja gaiden ...
do you know PEGI???
it's a sort of authority by developer/dealer themself to rate games in europe...
ninja gaiden for ps3 is rated 18+
the abnormal is that nowhere in the demo station there is a mention of it!!!!!!
there was a father and his 8/10 years son.
i said: "what if i say to you that this game is rated 18+??"
he said:"noway it's free to play, for sure it's for children too"
then i said:" so look here ..."
i take a ninja gaiden copy from a shelf and show him...
he suddenly stop his son to play and thank me...
I THINK THAT A FATHER HAS THE RIGHT TO KNOW THAT HIS SON IS PLAYING A GAME RATED BY A DEVELOPER/DEALER AUTHORITY 18+!!!
BLAME ON SONY!!!...
AND TO SHOPS LIKE MEDIAWORLD !!!!
it's not a simple moral matter...
respect rating of games would help next time media will attack videogames world because of a stupid violent game...
when sony make a free play for a game rated 18+ it's making the worst to gamers world.
and shops like Mediaworld should make parents know what kinds of games their children are playing at demo stations.
