The original post didn't have to be so long. I can sum it up in a few lines.

Sony fans were used to being number one. They aren't and won't be number one this generation. So they have been and continue to act like a toddler throwing a tantrum when mommy says they can't have a new toy.

I will keep it short. If you enjoy your console as much as you claim to. Play your games on it and stop with all the FUD.

I do think the PS3 is better in every way, but I no longer feel the need to say it. I will simply let data speak for itself.

I said I would be more quiet about it, not that my stance on the situation has changed.

See we agree... your still in the last place.. so until the PS3 passes the XBox360 you will be humble? Well that's a long time to be humble.. a whole year.. at least.. that's the data speaking. :)

Whats FUD? Should iknow this? I dont keep up with the acronyms these days

Frankly the gaming parts of the internet in 2007 were so hostile, it was as if everyone regressed to 10 year olds, but I'm glad that Sony fans have been shut up due to fairly poor sales, 360 fans due to RROD, and Wii fans due to the fact that Mr whosnameicantpsell said that casual is the way forward.

I still miss the PS2 days when everyone had one, just made life easier, nowadays all my friends have got 360s, Wiis or just play PC games, so can't play online with them :(

Here's my take on it:

Nintendo fans weren't used to being number one.  They are and will be number one this generation.  So they have started acting like toddlers throwing a tantrum when people (Sony Fans) don't praise the Wii and it's success, and third-parties don't support the system... Ask the ubisoft boycotters.

Well, that was fun.

To tell you where I stand on this whole situation though... I have absolutely nothing against any particular console, if I can find a game that fully takes advantage of the console it's releases on and appeals to me personally, then I will have no problems supporting them. I share no loyalty to any particular system manufacturer. I just generally find that Sony friends seem to be the most egotistical, ignorant superiority complexed POS of the whole community. And the bigger the reality check they get, the better.

Thats funny hearing you say that, seeing as PS3 fans had to go through it first. Rabid fanboyism did not really start till this gen. I never heard of fanboyism till that very mark. It started out with massive PS3 bashing because they were such an overwhelming winner last gen.

The only reason we sound like that is because we were/are retaliating to all the bad press, bashing, slander that we went through in the first place.

No no no....I was asked to leave because the thread was being derailed, so I was about to, but then I saw a few more posts, so I went back and edited my last one and put "hypocrites" in there. That in of itsself is not hypocritical
