Eww sonic does anyone still remenbers him?

1st That was today,not yesterday.
2nd That wasn't a bash.It was more like an description of the way of quality the latest 3D Sonics are going: downhill imo.
And last but not least as can clearly read in my profile which Sonic games are my favorites and if you scroll down a little bit which Sonics i haven't played yet.
So no opinion about them from me until i actually played both.

I too grew up with Sonic. Loved it since the day I first played Sonic The Hedgehog for the Genisis. Sonic The Hedgehog 2 was also awesome and the third was the best out of the three. I loved how Sonic & Knuckles was not only a great game, but how it expanded STH3 and allowed Knuckles to be a playable charater in STH2. Sonic 3D was fun and Sonic Spinball was good too.

The 3D Sonic games were really cool when I first played them. Sonic Adventure was easily my favorite Dreamcast game by far and I beat it 3 times over. Although I didn't like playing as Big the Cat but who does? Sonic Adventure 2 Battle was great but I missed the adventure field. I really got into the Chao though. Sonic Heroes was good. I liked how your characters could power up and how each team had a team attack. Shadow The Hedgehog was one I didn't like so much. The gameplay is good, but I didn't like how they cursed. I mean who would've imagined Sonic cursing? I also got the collections and liked Sonic Riders.

The Advance game were all good. I like how your main character can do different moves based on their partner. Sonic Rush was awesome. I couldn't wait for it to come out when I first heard of it. The gameplay was great and the music was great (Get Edgy is the best). The sequal I didn't like as much though. No real great music and I didn't like the new trick system.

Sonic The Hedgehog(PS3/360) is one of the three Sonic games I've played that I didn't like. The load times are long, the homming attack doesn't have a good feel to it that it used to, the cammera is bad, and you can't kill enemies as Sonic by jumping on them. Oh and I didn't like playing as Silver. Sonic & The Secret Rings is my favorite Sonic game this gen so far. I loved it! The only thing I didn't like is the backing up. You can't see what's behind you.

I've always been wary of of 3D Sonic titles. Not necessarily because of the gameplay elements or the quirky camera (that's part of the equation), but also because of the ideas behind the titles. A dark, broody, anti-hero hedgehog? Guns? Vehicle combat? Telepathic Post-Armageddon Hedgehogs? Hedgehog-Human relations? Were-hogs?!

What are you thinking Sonic Team?

Now, I'm not a big fan of Sonic and the Secret Rings when it comes to his constant pinky promises. But on a gameplay standpoint, I loved that the focus was put on the speed and not the story (as much as DTG would disagree...). Yeah, there were a lot (a lot) of issues, but it was a red sneaker in the right direction. It's one of the reasons why I'm looking forward to Black Knight. Unleashed looks nice, but the Were-Hog elements just put a frown on this panda.

And I'm sad to see that you lost the bet Xeo. Dont leave muh!

If Sonic Chronicles is good, my faith will be restored, and i will think about supporting Sonic once again. For now, I will patiently wait for the game to come out and read the reviews when it does...... wait, I have a good one.... I'll put this in my sig:

I love Sonic Advance/Rush/Adventure, and that was developed by Dimps.

I'm looking forward to Chronicles as well. So far Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are definitely on the team. I'm not too sure who will be the fourth member however...

Well I guess Sonic Team is trying new things to see what works. (Although did they seriously Shadow the Hedgehog would be great? Sure the be good or bad is interesting, but the guns and cursing, what the crap?)

Sonic unleashed looks to be real good except for the were-hog. Why Sega? Why? It doesn't need a were-hogs. This is my main quirk about the game. When I first heard of it, I was like awesome no weird unsonic-like thing in the game. I must of jynxed it.

Sonic Chronicles though is at the top of my game list. The only thing that bothers me is that you select the moves for all the characters and then they all attack. I understand that they wanted it to be fast paced but I was hoping it'd be where you select a move for a character and that character immidiately does the attack.

Sonic and The Dark Knight seems awesome not only cause it plays like Secret Rings but because it takes place in the midevial times. I need to know a bit more about the game though.
