Im sorry but once you've actually spent a good amount of time perfecting your fighting skills in tekken, other fighting games seem like superficial B-like fighters with scarcity of character diversity, combos, juggles, Just frames, Negative frames. /rant

the ps3 will outsell the gamecube by 20+ millions  at least.

anyway sony will start strong in september, with the release of resistance 2, and little big planet in the comming months it will outpeform previous christmas sales especially in europe.

some months away after christmas killzone 2 in february, home already released (hopefully) the steam will last a bit more in feb.

but then in march it will start to spice up with the release of advent children complete and the ff13 ,a demo will be giving the ps3 a boost.

sale will boost by a bit, similar to GT5:prologue in europe.

later that year ff13 hitting in japan coupled with gt5 in europe and a bit in america it will see it biggest boost year.

marking the dead of the 360 in those territories (japan & europe).

hoping to a christmas release to ff13v in japan likely but we can only home.

getting it another AAA title (heavy rain) by xmas, but i don't think it will be a huge seller.

2010 ff13 v and ff13 in the US

i find it hard to predict 360 future after 2008, it will keep selling but i don't think it will pass ps3 in 2009 by a long time, maybe by a huge release peak but mainly in the US if it wins ww not by alot.

but of course i am yet to see the effect of the $199 arcade and the quality of the  jasper motherboard.

i see japan as a lost cause to them same with europe they will end up third in both anyway.

considering it exclusives are not many,  and it shoot all it bullets already, they probably will be announcing a new console by 2010.

FFXIII will provide minimal boost to X360 if it's released only outside of Japan because FF's biggest market is in Japan.

A very very important question that needs to be ask is that in Japan, do people own X360 own X360 exclusively??
My instinct tells me that Japanese do not buy X360 as the first console, but an addition to the PS3, meaning that all the x360 owners in Japan owns a PS3. If my prediction here holds true, it's impossible for the X360 to do better than the PS3 ever in Japan.

Maybe 2 or 3 games of your list will be million seller... so doesn't look like a real threat for the competition.

L.A Noire will almost certainly be a million seller

WKC has a very good chance in RPG starved japan
DC Universe will have solid interest because of batman movies
Heavy rain has a good chance too
