Gamer4eva said: Ok, i have seen alot of threads saying that the PS3 doesn't have RPG's that are worth playing and therfore it is a weak system. But hang on, couldn't this arguement be easily flipped? Who has the best driving games? = PS3 (Motorstorm & GT) Who has the best shooters? = PS3 (Killzone 2 & Resistance 2) Who has the best platformers? = PS3 (LBP & R&C) Who has the best puzzle games? = PS3 (Echochorme etc..) Who has the best sport games? = PS3 ( I gave this to PS3 because it has the multiplats and the exclusives) Who has the best action/adventure games? = PS3 (Uncharted anyone?) Who has the best RPG games? = 360 The thing is i do agree that in this moment in time the 360 does have the better RPG's but if you look at every other category the PS3 wins. So why is it that people are saying that the 360 is king of RPG'S and making it sound like RPG's are everything these days.

Driving is debatable... at least until GT5 is released. Motorstorm was one of the worst driving games i've ever plaed.
Shooters. Once again... two unreleased games. Of so far released games... 360 has PS3 beat stone cold.
Platformers. Braid likely beats R&C. LBP has a chance to change the tide though.... when it comes out.
Puzzle games - Can't speak to this.
Best Sports games - PS3 really a dead draw though since the only difference is MLB the Show which is the best Baseball game. Sony's NBA game sucks compared to 2K sports one. However that's offset by the fact that a lot of sports games run better on 360.
Action/Adveture - A really wide open category, too hard to judge because of this... due to the ridiculious diversity and the fact that it's more of a catch all "i dunno" genre.
As for why people care so much about RPGs. It's because RPGS are a staple of the REALLY hardcore super nerd gamer... of which you are going to find on message boards about sales.
I mean look at the odd number of SRPG lovers on this board compared to how they sell mainstream.
