Well story is usually a bit hard to figure out if you'll enjoy before you purchase a game. So although story is very important to me, and with RPG's is more important to me than Gameplay, I usually make purchases based on gameplay.

Id say gameplay, because if the game is frustrating or crappy, the best story in the world can't save it. Though, if there ever was a Zelda game with a crappy story, Id be displaced severely =)

Pretty much the Gameplay the most...



I would say definately gameplay. Story has the potential to make a good game great... But in my opinion, a game with terrible gameplay is unsalvageable, whereas you can have an entertaining game with a forgettable storyline...

Gameplay, mainly because I loathe 95% of game stories. I wouldn't be doing much gaming if I focused on importance of story.
