I certainly think it is. Considering the flood of videogames that are just around the corner for both the 360 and ps3, I can't think of a better time to be a gamer than now. So, what do you think? Has there been a better era of creativity than now? Discuss please.

Actually, 2005-2006 was the best year to be a gamer, but thats my opinion.

This generation doesn't hold a candle to the 16 bit days, the 32 bit days, or even last gen, yet.

And as far as era of creativity...are you joking? With that list? Maybe LBP if the hype is to be believed, but the rest is just more of the same we've been getting for years.

DLC is the savior of this gen so far, imo. Without it, it would be a wash.

I think the thread title should've been "Best time to be a PS3/360 gamer?", because you ignored Wii, DS, PSP and PC's games... especially PC's lineup, which crushes both PS3 and X360's.

This really isn´t that great of a time to be a gamer... ok there are great games out but you need a PC, PS3, 360 and Wii to enjoy them all... now in the SNES days that was the only system you really needed... still its all about what you like... if point and click is what you like your best time to be a gamer is long gone...
