they basicallly discussed what we have discussed on this site a gazzilion times on this site already... sony is sorta confusing consumers...killzone could live up to the hype based off of call of duty 4 graphics... and so forth

expected more, they said maybe 1/10th of what the average fan on the forum could say.

They estimate a lot more conservatively. I liked the show. Last week's MS show was very good too.

Next week is Wii. 

Am I the only one who doubts a PS3 price cut at E3? Pachter seems pretty sure it will happen in the podcast.

I highly doubt it .I would point to october-november more like

A price drop so soon after release might have an adverse effect, potential buyers make look at it as though it's price was dropped to clear stock due to the platform being abandoned. I remember when the Dreamcast price started dropping... it never stopped dropping... until it was confirmed that they were exiting out of the console business. I think my confidence in the PS3 will drop if the price drops so soon. Proves that they made the wrong decision and that the system isn't worth the price (even the new price).

I think they won't, they will wait some and the announcement will be followed by the drop very quickly. It doesn't seem the kind of thing to announce at E3...
