And no, the game is over for SSBB... it will never come close to beaten MK.. MK is still soldout across much of NA and Europe, and from what I hear it is not easy to come by in Japan.

SSBB will have to relagate itself to being one of the best selling games ever I am afraid... will only sell 11-13 million lifetime.



End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

Nah, Mario Kart has always been bigger than Smash Bros, so it's no real surprise. As long as Brawl does better than it's predecessors, I'll be happy.

Games I want: (Wii)Mario Kart, Okami, Bully, Conduit,  No More Heroes 2 (GC) Eternal Darkness, Killer7, (PS2) Ico, God of War1&2, Legacy of Kain: SR2&Defiance


My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.

I think mario kart will be top most likely since casuals are buying way more than Brawl. People with wii sports are buying here...

Mario Kart sells more the Super Smash Bros in general. Only reason Melee out sold DD is because it came out with the gamecube...

Core-friendly fighting game vs. family-friendly racing game, on a console that's very family-friendly? Not surprising at all that the latter is winning...
