Yeah. By the time I get my Wii I won't have to buy batteries. http://crunchgear.com/2007/02/06/thanko-releases-usb-wii-mote-charger/ Thanko Japan, I thanko you for this kick-ass USB Wiimote charger so I don’t have to buy new batteries every few days. The Thanko charger comes with a USB cradle, nickel battery and a new battery cover so you know, you can charge those new batteries. The new batteries provide up to 25 hours of juice and recharge to full capacity in 3.5 hours. Charges from any USB port and has blue LEDs to let you know when it’s done charging. Launching in Japan at the end of the month, you can pick up a pair for $55 or a single one for $30.

nice! Hopefully they'll release something like that in the US, or else I'm gonna have to do some online ordering. Wii remotes don't suck up batteries that fast, but it's still nice to save money and the hassle. I may just get two for the heck of it...recharging more at once...yay.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Uhm... it's been stated on many boards that you can get a 4-pack of rechargable batteries with charger for $20 or less.... check your local Home Depot/Lowes/Wal-Mart......

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

Yeah, but these are just regular rechargeable AA's. Not a battery pack where all you have to do is put the wiimote in a cradle.

Yes. And while I consider myself a smart shopper, I'm gonna get a Wiimote charger when it comes. It would be a little easier to put the wiimote straight into the charger...plus for 10 bucks more it looks sweet. And it's USB, so just into the back of the Wii instead of on the wall somewhere
