Nintendo World Store No Longer Taking ‘Wii Fit’ Pre-orders

In what was a horrible turn of events for me yesterday, a trip to the Nintendo World Store resulted in an unfortunate amount of disappointment.

Some people procrastinate, and I’m one of them. I figured the Nintendo Store would be the safest place for me to still be able to pre-order “Wii Fit,” since it is already sold out at GameStop, Amazon, and Wal-Mart among other stores.

However, the Nintendo World Store seemed to be the last beacon of hope. Upon my request to place a pre-order, I was told that Tuesday was the last day they were taking pre-orders. In other words, the Nintendo World Store is sold out of “Wii Fit” almost a week prior to the game’s release.

Looks like I’m going to have to do some extra legwork on Monday if I want to go home with the game.

Based on what my co-workers said yesterday, I’m pretty sure this game is going to be huge.

This is the 3rd time this week of a thread of a sellout. Why not make an official thread?

Good for Wii Fit, it will have an awesome first week.

Wii Fit = number shipped first day

Stupid supply issues will prevent Wii Fit from having a monster first week but it'll still be over 1 million for sure.

Well, here's another world phenomenon in the making! Never knew Wii Fit would be THAT attractive!

I'll start posting in the Wii Fit thread if you promise to whine every time a MGS4 thread is created.

i don't get how sales in Others is even falling. I have yet to see an available copy of Wii fit and i have been to stores in 4 different countries in the last two weeks (not for the game though). I did not really even want the game, but not being able to even find it is making me increasingly curious.

I can't wait to see DMC 5 using the balance board.
