MindsEye is a game that a lot of people were talking about, but not only because of the hype: Some of them were worried this game would be a big mess. And they may be right.
I was very skeptical about the "new GTA" title from Build a Rocket Boy myself, since the gameplay was not very promising, and almost all the trailer were only about cutscenes and plot. Then, some days ago a couple of people got access to an early version of the game, and the reception made the Devs ask them to wait for a day one patch before playing it.
June 11, the day of the release, and the Steam version got a lot of negative reviews. Bad optmization, uninteresting gameplay, and overall a poor experience. It didn't took long for people to compare it to old games.
There's no Metascore for it yet, but mostly reviews are giving this game a below 50 score. IGN gave it a 4.
Now, I'm about to try this game myself, but... I'm not even sure if my PC will be able to handle it, since I have a above average RIG, and it seems to be a case of poor optized game. Anyway, I'll update it later.
