Forums - General - Your DnD alignment according to your irl personality

I'm definitely a chaotic-good type of guy b/c i believe in justice, truth, and empthy.  Yet, i also quite like chaos and am mischivious.

Here's a chart for you all......

Never played DND (hope to change that) but I'm either neutral or lawful good. I view violence as a last resort, believe in helping others for little to no benefit, and have a code/principle.
In all fairness, almost no one will admit evil in their personality even for the small portion of humanity that is.

I generally play chaotic good characters as it's where I recognize myself the most.

Though according to the description in the OP, maybe I should switch to NG as the description of chaotic good I had was much less... severe, I should say.

Chaotic good, I think. Law is not always the same as justice.

Lawful Neutral irl, but played more Chaotic Neutral back back in err the 90s. It's a game, try everything lol. (to the despair of the DM)

I don't agree with the statement in the picture though, doesn't fit the description.
"why should we ride to the aid of those that did not come to ours?" That's not how the UN operates ;)

Everybody here sounds like a lot of fun to play with. If we could get a game going virtually, i think that this would be a lot of fun.

Yeah, that sounds a lot more like a true neutral, only do something if you get something in return.

IRL - I don't know, I guess quantum state in NG-CG-CN-TN square.

At the table...depends of the game - I don't play very often, I'm mostly forever DM, but when I play (D&D and D&D adjacent, specifically), I tend to pick a class last, so I can see what the party needs - and often I end up as Paladin, and for me (yes, I'm old) Paladin can be only one class, Lawful Good, so I sometimes play them old school, as in "Lawful Stupid".

That said, D&D alignment doesn't mean anything anymore, since they've stripped the game out of meaningful alignment things that mattered in the old editions.
