Baldurs gate 3 easily. Not just ravd pc reviews, but console too. Totk was similar to botw. Bg3 felt different. My personal pick was re4 remake, but I expect bg3 to win.

It’s not something I am particularly gleeful to say…but I think Baldur’s Gate 3 has it in the bag at the moment. TotK would be my pick, though it’s undeniable the impact of BC3 certainly warrants a goty.

It’s wild that this year is so strong, we have two nominations which in any other year would easily win the entire show.

Agreed. Even more so, besides the two games, the other games might be GOTY winners in less strong years. Actually I am not sure which two games you mean, a few days ago I would've been sure it is Zelda and BG3, but Alan Wake II is getting very good reviews and a lot of nominations, so that I wonder if it actually is on par with them. I have to play it to judge. How strong this year is can be seen also in which games didn't even get a nomination: Hogwarts Legacy and Starfield would've been nominees in 2022, but this year can't reach that.

I'll go with Baldur's Gate 3 as the winner.
Even though ToTK has new mechanics, being a followup to BoTW, it doesn't have quite the same impact as the 2017 title.

My personal GOTY is Resident Evil 4, since that's the only one from the list I've properly played.

My game of the year is Zelda. BG3 which would more than likely be my personal 5th at best of the 6 games will win given the huge pc group praising it.
