First of all, I'm sorry if I've been slacking on here. I caught a nasty cold early in the month and I'm still recovering from it. I'll be doing my Spider-Man/Super Mario Wonder thread next week but I need to get this one out before the end of this month.

By far and away Super Mario RPG for me. I was just hoping the game eventually made it to NSO, but to get a full on remake is an absolute dream come true!

Nintendo balls deep in 2023.

At this rate it will be 3 goty contenders just for them with only one for sony and rest is baldur gate 3 (winner) ? They need to grow the list to incluede more third party bangers like alan wake and others. Its crazy that a game like finalfantasy might not be even contender because years is so crazy.

Yeah, I agree. I do hope that when Nintendo release their new console that it does get more 3rd party support (Alan Wake 2 being a pretty easy choice in there).

I'd say Starfield and Hi-Fi Rush may be able to squeeze in a few nominations but overall, Nintendo are killing it and Spider-Man is keeping Playstation afloat this year. In my opinion at least.

Maybe Super Mario RPG after I read some reviews. I have no clue what it is, yet Nintendo hasn't misfired yet this year.
The Talos Principle 2 could be fun yet I have to read some reviews first as well. First one was great, yet you never know with sequels to puzzle games.
