This just dropped, and it looks adorable.

They seem to be going for a different angle than with the previous LEGO Nintendo lines, everybody here's a minifigure instead of being a bigger and blockier figure like in the Mario or Donkey Kong sets.

Thoughts?

They don't really look like Legos now, do they ?

Though I think it's for the better since a lot of AC's appeal is with the character's "cuteness". Make them blocky and they might lose that charm they have.

True, Isabelle as a blocky figure like LEGO Mario and LEGO Donkey Kong would just look strange.
