No one can deny that this year has been a great year for gamers, with plenty of multiplatform releases to keep people occupied. This has certainly helped Sony to go under the radar with their 1st-party output, which has not been on par with their previous years. I mean, if they don't announce nothing else for the end of the year (which I highly doubt they will) they will end 2023 with only 2 AAA 1st party games released (one of which being available day one on the rival console's subscription service, ironically) and 2 VR games which, as you know, are not available to anyone who hasn't paid a few hundred dollars extra for the periferic.
I remember last year we had a very popular thread here were it was heavily disscussed how 2022 was Xbox's worse year for many people, so I got curious to see what people think about Sony's output this year. To my eyes, this has been the worst year for the playstation platform when it comes to 1st party output, but what do you guys think? Has there been any other year that was worse to you?
