That was almost a year ago.

Ontop of that, we heard that the PC port (spiderman remastered) sold over 1,5m as of may 2023, on steam+epic game store.

How much is Spiderman total sales at now you guys think?
Is it over 40m total?
How much will Spiderman 2 sell?

Wow, that's a lot. Really makes you wonder why nobody has tried a big budget high quality superhero game before.

should probably hit 30 million over a lifetime. can even surpass 11 million in 3 months of god of war

Good thing we collectively forgot about the failed Marvel Avengers game lol.

But really simply put, there's no superhero more popular than Spidey so seeing these kind of numbers ain't a real surprise.

+ The recent movies help to keep the IP fresh in people's mind. The success of the latest Spider verse movie will most definitely have an effect on Spiderman 2 release

An Avengers game done well could definitely be a massive hit. But yeah, not that one!

Any idea on breakdown of the 2 titles?

Insomniac's Spider-Man wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the Batman Arkham series.

sadly no.

I think it honestly could be combined over 40m total now (more than a year lateron) (between PS4/PS5/PC).
But Spiderman/remastered will make up the majority of that, with Miles Morales makeing up a smaller portion.
So like 25-27m is probably just the 1st spiderman game(s), and the last 13-15m or so, is Miles Morales.

The question is, does Spiderman 2 get anywhere close to that? Im honestly not sure.
Maybe being the first real, high quality spiderman game, made it more special? and the sequell doesnt go on to do as big numbers?
