Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wave 5 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass launches July 12th

See video below.

Excellent choice of tracks! Looks like one of the better waves.

Looking good! I'm most excited for Daisy Cruiser. That was always in rotation for my group in the GCN days.

They're going with three Tour courses again, which is fine. I'd be okay with only two, and an extra remastered classic track.

Vancouver Velocity is excellent. I was really looking forward to get that one, and the music is just the best.

The fact that Nintendo has kept this game alive for this long is almost as impressive as what Rockstar did with GTA5. Maybe even more so, when you consider it started its life as Wii-U title.

It's impressive, yes.  But in another way, it is depressing. We should be playing Mario Kart 9 now. We should have been playing it a few years ago.  MK8 is a great game.  But, I think most people have been ready to move on to the next game for quite a while now.

I've heard great things about Vancouver Velocity. I am definitely pumped to try it.

I hope the next wave adds Dixie Kong. ^^

I personally feel the same way. I played the hell out of that game on Wii-U, and then even on the Switch. But I moved on a long time ago. Still, it's pretty obvious that we're in the minority, otherwise they'd never have pumped this much time and money into it. Clearly, people want more MK 8.

Maybe MK 9 will be a launch title?

It'd make sense to have it as one.
