The €449 disc version will cause way bigger spike than FF16, it’s been advertised at most retailers in Spain.

Yeeeaahh ... Yup, FFXVI was not the expected big pusher for hardware it was thought to be. But the news of the discount will probably do the hefty lifting on that front

Ps5 at about 710k LTD. FF16 only had a 3% attach rate.

Compare that to Japan where software sales are "dead", had a 9% attach rate.

After just a couple of hour it went straight to #1 on Amazon Spain, it seems that they sent decent stock, but is very possible they will go out of stock soon.

Spain is possible the most price sensible country in Europe regarding consoles, it will be seen if there is an impact or not.
