Xbox One is defeated. The original Xbox will be left behind soon.

If things keep going like that, even the Xbox 360 can be beaten. With Microsoft's support, it can become the best selling Xbox in Japan.

It's keeping up this well without any notable exclusive Japanese software like the 360 got so they're very much doing something right.

If it continues the good pace and even increase it by it's peak years (2023-2025) I think it can reach even the Wii U (3.33M)

There will be a little bit before I do more August comparison charts. I am waiting on the Europe monthly report from GamesIndustry before doing the Europe comparisons, NPD before doing the US comparisons, and both of them before doing the worldwide comparisons. NPD was supposed to come out on Friday, but it was delayed to Tuesday.

Is that also when we'll get the next weekly sales update then? Tomorrow?

Bet with Liquidlaser: I say PS5 and Xbox Series will sell more than 56 million combined by the end of 2023. (And over 130 million lifetime)

I am hoping to have them out tomorrow. Worst case I will just start the US monthly comparisons.
