You should not want to be right or left, and you shouldn't need anyone to guide you. You should look into what is going on and make your own choices. I see no purpose for this thread.

"What's right" is very subjective. I agree with JWeinCom. Always be informed of the facts and be in tune with your personal experiences and the experiences of others. As long as you're operating within the realm of reason, keeping a level head , and being respectful, you should be good.

But I do need help I can't do this alone because few of my family members have been manipulated by the GOP and want me to be like one of them aka my uncle. And I know he's wrong but he's a genius about his manipulation so I made the thread and he's a trump lover.

Yeah, going to echo what some of the above posts say. Sides in politics is one of humanities biggest failures.

Forget about that. Instead, ask why? And, because somebody on "our side" said so, is NOT a reason why.

As others have said it's less about right or left and more about good and bad information. Where you're getting your information is essential:

The Associated Press is generally the most factual, unbiased, original reporting out there, but can be a bit dry. If you need some flavor you can consult the chart and pay attention to where they fall on the spectrums of bias and accuracy.

If you're looking for commentary and theory, I enjoy content from David Pakman, Last Week Tonight, Some More News, Brian Tyler Cohen, Shaun, Innuendo Studios, Three Arrows, Robert Reich, The Damage Report, etc. These are not replacements for original news sources however and should not be the only contents of your media diet.

K, I believe we need to change how cops operate. I'm late on this but Kaepernick is a Hero for taking one knee on the freedom of Anthem if I remember? He was right totally right. We need to change the system on how cops handle a minority if the cop pulls a knee on back of a minority throat tape it we need to change the system of police brutality no more killing unarmed men . also Woman should get equal pay as men in their jobs, I used to beleive in abolishing guns but the politics threads changed me it';s for the safety of lets say a woman where a kiddnapper thinks shes easy prey , she fills the anyone trying to harm her with lead. Also believe in LGBTAIO, and believe in adding minorites in games in protagonist roles like games such like deathloop and crackdown 1 on Xbox 360 also Donate a dollar everytime a store ask for saint jude cancer .etc

What you believe is less important than WHY you believe something. If you have good reasons for that belief and evidence and facts to back up that belief (and, as someone pointed out, always ensure that the source of the evidence is solid, reliable and factually based) then you can feel quite confident in holding that belief. Also, don’t ever let people bully or coerce you into changing your mind about anything; if their arguments are sound, they shouldn’t need to resort to aggression in the first place.

I'd contest this. It's much more likely she fills an innocent man with lead. Anybody trying to abduct somebody isn't going to give them a chance to pull out a gun and shoot it (unless they're a total dumbass).

I think it's much more likely she shoots somebody that she (incorrectly) thought was a threat, rather than somebody that actually attacks her.
