Shmup genre is kinda dead and I want it back, Cave blew up going exclusive to Xbox 360 and the same is happening with Sega making their super game in the likes of Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi reboots, Sony didn't really help in funding Shenmue 3 it was kickstarted and Nintendo is not gonna do anything to certain 3rd parties because the cost of such demanding games might reach 1/4 of a billion and then we have delay's pushing the game to be half a billion but Microsoft is willing to max such a game dream just dont pull a scalebound where you're working on nier automata and other games but stealing scalebound money and not finishing the dream game? If scalebound was polished it would of been a hyper game pushing a billion maybe in creating it more than buying Minecraft for 2.5 billion or Sony buying Bungie for 2 billion. Dream games takes alot of faith .No one is willing except Sega currently.

Capcom/Square/Konami/Namco don't need to make exclusives to Microsoft they are extremely healthy, They can do whatever they want. When I mean certain companies I mean companies that need a kickstarter for a huge Franchise that is in need of deep revival and the right business to turn a profit by x4 or whatever certain 3rd parties really wanted in the long run? Sega is not atlus Sega looks for major profit and and their games are harder to make unlike shin megami doesn't take much in the gameplay department to make and profits are peanuts atlus thinks of themselfs as small brain fry , while Sega thinks of themselfs as respected big company that ruled consoles in genesis era even though they lost. Sega made a mistake making other franchise exclusive to sony  while yakuza brought small profit from nagoshi leadership for yakuza he had the right idea it wasn't enough Haruki Satomi wants big bucks and unlimited supply of busty woman since he was boss since 2017 of Sega the guy is young and wants to be a hero and be remembered foundly like phil spencer is remembered for making big moves profit for Microsoft and Yoshida for Sony making big profit moves not another dunce leader like Don mattrick Sega as a whole lost their arcade business in japan and don't want to get bought  so they go where the money is and here we are. Nagoshi is with netease and the rest is history . Sega wants to be big like Namco Bandai and Taketwo etc. I'm gonna shut up now don't want the game to be harder socially.

Jet set radio reboot Will look better than Jet Set Radio Future and shatter these expectations design reboot 2 better than this

Edit second post above talking about capcom etc dont really need microsoft money for certain games they are too healthy capcom and others are fine look at monster hunter exclusively on Switch though can't say the same for grass hopper if only Nintendo bought them before tencent swoop in.

Gonna post 1 more time Atlus loves to do strange things they make Shin Megami Tensei 5 exclusive to Switch but make Soul Hackers 2 for Xbox/Playsation 5 skipping the Switch version . Atlus really likes to make weird choices they love making low profits most of the time hope Sega changes their stance and brings Persona 6 to Switch/Xbox and PS5 as a multiplat and stop hurting themselfs and maximize profits to port on all including Xbox and Switch.
