Forums - Gaming Discussion - EA Play 2022 is Cancelled

We love EA Play Live as it's our way of connecting with our players and sharing what’s new with all of you. However, this year things aren't lining up to show you everything on one date. We have exciting things happening at our world-class studios and this year we’ll reveal much more about these projects when the time is right for each of them. We look forward to spending time with you throughout the year!

EA Play Live Event Won't Be Happening This Year - IGN

Honestly, other than their sports games, it doesn’t seem like they have much coming soonish. We haven’t seen anything substantial from Skate 4 or Dragon Age 4. Dead Space is coming next year. And EA Kinda gets mocked for focusing on their sports every year. We do have a Need For Speed coming but I don’t think that would be enough to carry them

After last year god awful event, this is probably for the best. If they don't have anything to show, then its best they keep it to themselves.

I'd settle for updates on Twitter and Youtube on games I'm interested in (Dead Space and DA atm). Though both seem to be quite far away tbh.

It's simply that they prolly have nothing to show or advanced enough to be shown unless they wanna do another CG bullshit demo to fool the crowd once again.
We'll live better for that

Like anyone actually gave a shit. No one watched their boring shows. Ah yes I need to sit through 2 hours through an Ea thing that they will yet again release the same game for the 30th year in a row. Ah man, I need to watch as I need to know if another Fifa, Madden, or Battlefield will release. Never heard anyone say they are looking forward to watching EA and if they have they a lie. EA as a company is as exciting as a colonoscopy.

I'm honestly expecting Dead Space to show up whenever Sony does their PSVR2 software showcase.

But good riddance to this event. Always very boring.
