Forums - Sony Discussion - State of Play - 9 March (PS4/ PS5 updates)

https://blog.playstation.com/2022/03/08/state-of-play-returns-this-wednesday/

Note: We won’t have any updates on PlayStation VR2 titles or hardware in this broadcast.

The show is clocking in around 20 minutes, give or take, with a special focus on highlighting great games coming from some of our beloved Japanese publishers, though we’ll have a few updates from other developers located around the world, too.

Damn. Just barely beat me!

Just in time 2 PM pacific time before I sleep .

Cute and honest Sega Saturn fan, also noone should buy Sega grrrr, Sega for life.

*prays for FFXVI for the millionth time*

I'm going in with no expectations. This way I can't be disappointed. Well, except that other time I went in with no expectations and left disappointed.

So I'll low ball it. God of War release date. New Ghostwire: Tokyo trailer. Gran Turismo 7 DLC. And a Strangers In Paradise trailer.

Pack it up boys. The FF16/ RE4 remake dream is dead

But honestly, I'm excited at the prospect of an xDev Japan title being announced.

It’s only fair after everyone dashed my hopes and dreams of Sucker punch somehow working on new installments of Infamous, Sly Cooper, and Ghost of Tsushima…😂

Looks like we're going to have to wait a little bit longer for the PlayStation Showcase lol.

Don't expect any massive reveals or updates on major titles like FF16 or RE4R. State of Plays with a few days notice, without being dedicated showings, are usually centered around indie games. However, Sony did specify Japanese publishers, so we could get an update on Soul Hackers 2, or even Ghostwire:Tokyo.

THis seems a very small event, so the leakers were wrong, who could imagine.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

So mostly strangers of paradise and Tokyo Ghostwire. Oh well could be worse.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
