No switch? Anyway that's a sequel not many played from a console that people forgot about.
Most notably, the game drops both the SMT and Devil Summoner monickers.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
An anime-style JRPG not on the Switch, what could possibly go wrong
"Quagmire, are you the type of guy who takes 'no' for an answer ?"
"My lawyer doesn't allow me to answer that question"

Eh? Persona 4 Golden sold over 1M on Steam, it will do fine. This being on several platforms.. SH 2 will easy success for Atlus/SEGA.
For the trailer.. I'm digging the P5 look.
P.S whats up with all the port begging.

Bye Bye classical dungeon crawler.
I don’t understand Atlus. They go from making Persona 5 exclusively on PlayStation, to bringing Persona 4 Golden to PC, to making Shin Megami Tensei 5 (the main series to Persona) exclusively on Switch, to putting Persona 4 Strikers to everything but Xbox, to now putting Soul Hackers 2 on everything but Switch…….I guess I don’t know what kinds of deals Sega works out through these releases

I think we will see full multiplat from them in the future. They said they were happy with how well Persona has done on other platforms like Strikers on Switch and P4G on PC and teased that the series will be multiplat in the future, even teased it for Xbox. Surprised Soul Hacker is skipping Switch, I assume they are planning to do it as a late port or something.
But yeah, I see Persona permanently adding Xbox and PC soon, while older Persona remasters will probably also come to Switch. Persona 6 and Project ReFantasy are likely targeting high end graphics and would need a heavily downgraded high effort port to release on Switch, so I think they will skip Switch and wait on Switch 2 for those.

I think people are just surprised. One of the posters here puts it perfectly, the latest entry in the main series just released for Switch, but this one won't, not to mention the last re-release of Soul Hackers was put on 3DS. Meanwhile, this will be Atlus' first game for Xbox in a decade.
Game also looks like Tokyo Mirage Sessions, lol.
