Forums - Gaming Discussion - Most Wanted March (Votes Are In! Who is the new number 1?)

Sorry for the delay, I somehow forgot that the month ended on a Monday so I wanted to give the poll a few days to compensate for the community vote (not that the first 2 had much of a chance at changing but it was a bit heated between 3-5). So right off the bat, The Legend of Zelda took the runner up spot but only due to the community vote. Otherwise, Zelda would have taken the top spot. There's also a lot of debuts in the top 20 thanks to a mid-month Nintendo Direct. All platforms manage to have at least 1 game in the top 10 (and let's congratulate the dedicated people who keep voting for Stanley Parable Ultra Deluxe that pushed it into the top 10 for the first time!)

Nintendo had the strongest month in a while thanks to a Nintendo Direct that not only revealed new games coming out, but also games with actual release dates/windows. Most of these games are still digging for scraps but with Kirby gone, there will have to be new games to fill the void. Xenoblade makes an impressive debut for a mid month announcement in the 3rd spot.

With the release of Horizon, Final Fantasy and God of War: Ragnarok are pretty much carrying the system. Otherwise, games that are far out, new IPs, and multiplatform games are still falling short of top 10 status (which is unforunate since Forspoken and Ghostwire Tokyo both release this month....both of which manifested extra points from the Most Anticipated March release thread but neither really got much hype on this specific thread).

Spoiler!
Final Fantasy XVI PS 26 9 The Wolverine PS 3 1

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin PS 4 1 Spider-Man 2 PS 1 1

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe manages to be the king of the PC as of right now. While there are still more IPs for PC than PS or XB, Nintendo has managed to jump back ahead of them in regards to sheer numbers of games voted for.

Spoiler!

Xbox isn't having the strongest showing as of late. Until we start hearing more from power players, it's going to be in a little bit of a lull (with the exception of Starfield of course).
