Forums - Gaming Discussion - Hamster Registers "Console Archives" Trademark

Hamster, the publisher of the Arcade Archives series, has registered a new trademark for something called "Console Archives". If it's for what I think it is, it'll be awesome, but I think the name Console Collective would've sounded better. What do you all think of this news?

Atari 2600 games incoming...

PC Engine games would be interesting.

Sega owns developer that makes nekketsu oyako , Konami owns bloody roar , capcom owns dino crisis , Sega owns magic knight rayearth , Capcom owns cannon spike , etc

All the really good Developers from Sega Saturn era and Dreamcast like technosoft and atlus were bought by Sega , While Konami bought Hudson soft from Sega Saturn era , While Square enix and other big 3rd party publishers bought the good devs from Sega Saturn era and Dreamcast , only one left that is good and not bought is Sunsoft makers of Astra Superstars for Sega Saturn.

M2 got you covered though , developer Taoplan that made Batsugon and other games from Sega Saturn Era releasing on Switch don't need these archives read below from wikipedia

The rights to nearly every Toaplan IP are currently owned by Tatsujin, a Japanese company formed by Yuge and now-affiliate of Japanese arcade manufacturer exA-Arcadia.[26][27][28][29][30][31] In 2019, Japanese company M2 announced that in 2020 they will release every game by Toaplan (excluding Mahjong Sisters and Enma Daiō) for consoles in Japan.

I have a Sega Saturn EMulator SSF 12 it runs the real game but not sure about burned copy I can let you get my SSF 12 emulator copy but if you own a Sega Saturn? the older versions like SSF 08 won't run it and such, Also Square enix owns the developer Taito did few great Sega Saturn games . I think you have the older version or different emulator? also Flycast Emulator runs Project Justice , but I own both console and game ,  though capcom own project justice.

Oh I have the real game on real hardware. Just saying if there ever was a chance for the game ported to Switch the one on Switch can't run it.

I honestly want the better Sega Saturn and Dreamcast games ported but that's up to the big AAA Japanese 3rd party developers like capcom to do , like capcom ported Gigawing in capcom Stadium pack 3 .
