Forums - Gaming Discussion - Former Sonic Mania Devs Making 3D Platformer

Evening Star, which was formed in 2018 by devs who worked on Sonic Mania, are working on a new 3D platformer. Unfortunately I don't have any updates to share about it, but thought it'd be nice to tell you about this.

Yeah. They said they're looking for a 3D artist to make low to mid-poly character models and environments.

That is good news, there is still space for Platformers 2D or 3D in the market.

It'd be nice for 3D platformers to make as much of a comeback as 2D platformers have.
